HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are on the hunt for two men involved in an attempted purse snatching in Kailua town.
The crime happened about 10 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Oneawa Market.
According to police records, the 57-year-old victim was walking to her car when one of the suspects grabbed her bag from behind.
HNN was told the woman sustained multiple injuries during the struggle with the suspected robber.
A witness told police the man escaped in a white Toyota 4-Runner waiting nearby that was driven by a second suspect.
